Day tours highlight all the national attractions, including Parliament House to observe parliament when in session, High Court, National Library, Embassy Buildings, Science and Technology centre as well as some of the southern highlands country side and some panoramic views of the city from Queen’s Terrace.


Tours to the Snowy Mountains
There are regular bus tours which take visitors to the Snowy Mountains. Tours stop at town of Cooma and visit the Hydro Information Centre, where the history of the huge project is discovered. During the winter season the tours include lake Jindabyne, Thredbo SkiingVillage and chairlift ride. The trip covers approximately 400 km return. In the summer time visitors experience a Skitube train ride through to Perisher Valley Resort and view Mt Kosisoko.

Kayak Tours
Nature lovers can take a kayak tour on Lake Burley Griffin. There a single or double kyaks and tours are led by experienced guides who can provide information and interesting facts about the area and the man-made lake.Kayakers will explore the Jerrabobera wetlands and Molongolo River and come close-up to the spray from the memorial jet. The tour allows some viewing opportunities of the iconic buildings of Canberra.
